QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATION
- At least 4-5 years of import operations experience in similar industries
- Excellence knowledge of import and export operations, HS Code Classification Tariff, Incoterms
- Good understanding of customs regulations
- Customs broker management, 3PL management
- Fluency in English, both written & spoken.
- Analytical and result oriented approach.
- Good interpersonal skills: an attitude that is team orientated
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Following and managing the day-to-day import/ export activities.
- Close follow up on custom legislations, Incoterms & requirements for importing materials and goods.
- Set/up verify exact HS Code, Customs Duty Rate for meterials.
- Reviewing and approving import declarations.
- Reviewing and approving logistics cost invoices.
- Manages Customs Broker and other vendor relationships tied to compliance programs.
- Monitoring and reporting the performance of 3PL, logistics cost.
- Developing proactive approaches to optimize necessary processes.
