QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
EGESAN is looking for "Import Specialist" having the following qualifications to be employed in our Karaköy office.
Responsible for:
- Managing stocks, creating purchase orders for needs and providing feedback for overstocks.
- Tracking purchase orders from suppliers to stocks
- Maintaining knowledge on regulations of import products and custom rules
- Managing supplier relations, monitor supplier performance, maintaining the continuity of service quality
- Following customs processes working with customs officer
- Preparation of payment instructions, scheduling payments and inform finance department regularly
- Arranging all steps of import’s logistics and warehouse procedures. Choosing the supplier by annual tender or arranging spot shipments
- Making market researches to find new suppliers
- Involving the product development projects to change or add new raw materials
- Reporting to the supply chain and planning manager
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proactive and able to work independently, but also as part of a team,
- Good command on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experienced in using ERP operating systems.
- No travel restriction.
- Bachelor degree from Management, Foreign Trade, International Relations, Economics; Material, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar
- Residing or willing to live in a place where it is easy to reach the office in Karaköy daily
Preferred Candidate:
- Years of Experience: More than 2 years of experience
- Level of Education: Bachelor’s(Graduate)
- Military Status: Completed, Exempt
- Languages: English(Reading : Advanced / Writing : Advanced / Speaking : Good)
- Driving License: Class B
