QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

EGESAN is looking for "Import Specialist" having the following qualifications to be employed in our Karaköy office.

Responsible for:

  • Managing stocks, creating purchase orders for needs and providing feedback for overstocks.
  • Tracking purchase orders from suppliers to stocks
  • Maintaining knowledge on regulations of import products and custom rules
  • Managing supplier relations, monitor supplier performance, maintaining the continuity of service quality
  • Following customs processes working with customs officer
  • Preparation of payment instructions, scheduling payments and inform finance department regularly
  • Arranging all steps of import’s logistics and warehouse procedures. Choosing the supplier by annual tender or arranging spot shipments
  • Making market researches to find new suppliers
  • Involving the product development projects to change or add new raw materials
  • Reporting to the supply chain and planning manager

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently, but also as part of a team,
  • Good command on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experienced in using ERP operating systems.
  • No travel restriction.
  • Bachelor degree from Management, Foreign Trade, International Relations, Economics; Material, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Residing or willing to live in a place where it is easy to reach the office in Karaköy daily

Preferred Candidate:

  • Years of Experience: More than 2 years of experience
  • Level of Education: Bachelor’s(Graduate)
  • Military Status: Completed, Exempt
  • Languages: English(Reading : Advanced / Writing : Advanced / Speaking : Good)
  • Driving License: Class B
