We' re currently seeking an Inspection, Measuring & Test Equipment Officer;

Main responsibilities and duties :

· The IMTE Officer manages the inspection, measuring and test equipment on the assigned area of responsibility and ensures the equipment is capable of producing valid results thanks to calibration, verification and analysis operations.

· Measurements Control Process

· Ensures the reception, identification and storage of Inspection, Measuring and Test equipment within the assigned area of responsibility,

· Conducts the analyses of measurement systems,

· Establishes the frequency of IMTE calibration/check procedures,

· Manages the database system to track IMTE records (record sheet, document, dedicated software,…),

· Ensures the early collection of equipment in order to perform calibration/inspection procedures,

· Develops alternative resources to ensure the Quality of manufacturing, laboratory and metrology measurements during pending calibration of available resources,

· Following the Purchasing Department guidelines, he/she may consult with external service providers about subcontracting calibration activities,

· Conducts or manages the calibration / verification procedures in compliance with the applicable measurement standards (Group Operating Instructions, ISO TS 16 949, NF EN ISO 17025, Customers’ requirements…),

· Communicates the IMTE after calibration and verification after updating the database, - Preserves and archives the calibrations / verification records,

· Reforms or downgrades the most efficient IMTE as appropriate,

Enhances the operation and management of IMTE on his/her site (QCD),

May participate in the definition of IMTE during the industrialization phases following the request of the project team.

Requirements :

Qualifications and Experience:

· Preferably graduated from two or four year faculties of Technical Science,

· Min. 2 years of related experience preferably, in the automotive industry.

Professional abilities:

· Rigor, organizational skills, objective approach, critical thinking,

· Command of office automation systems (Windows, Word, Excel, IMTE management software,…),

· Proficient in using Internet advanced search techniques.

Technical knowledge :

· Command of measuring tools (conventional metrology, laboratory measurements,),

· Command of basic principles of statistical analysis rules,

· Command of analysis principles of measurement systems,

· Command of calibration requirements and standards.

Command of technical drawing reading.
