QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an "International Accounting Manager" who will be responsible for the international accounting processes of the FLO Mağazacılık ve Pazarlama A.Ş / Headquarters.
The skills required
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or other related departments,
- More than 8-10 years of experience in accounting/tax and similar areas, preferably in the retail sector,
- Experience in working with foreign entities and having sufficient international accounting knowledge,
- Advanced user of MS Office and preferably having knowledge of SAP,
- Experienced in the implementation of accounting standards, tools and optimization of accounting processes,
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English,
- Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality,
- Taking initiative and not avoiding responsibility,
- Having analytic and reporting skills,
- Strong leadership skills,
- Ability to travel.
Responsibilities
- Responsible all accounting operations and statutory compliance activities,
- Ensuring that all accounting transactions are properly prepared and reported,
- Managing any related party transactions in alignment with the relevant teams,
- Performing the monthly financial closing activities and ensure for timely and accurate financial closing & submission,
- First point of contact with the local accounting teams/auditors/tax consultants to adequately plan the statutory compliance of GAAPs,
- Taking an active role for improving efficiency & quality of the accounting process,
- Following the foreign tax legislation, informing and directing the relevant persons,
- Managing incorporation of new foreign companies.
