We are looking for an "International Franchise and Operations Director" as the Mado Family, which is getting bigger and stronger day by day with our Production Facilities in Kahramanmaraş, our Regional Directorates in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir and 305 National & 70 International Mado Cafes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Directs and monitors international franchise growth and overseas expansion
  • Visit the branches in regular periods, perform the general audits and take the necessary actions
  • Execute the opening processes of new shops, working in coordination with both master franchisee and the relevant departments in the company
  • Check the sales performance and P&L tables of the branches, collect & evaluate monthly operational reports
  • Make competitor analysis and market research on the basis of countries and to develop the new strategies to increase the sales
  • Execute the menu preparation steps of master franchisees along with the menü planning department
  • Make annual budget and sales targets of the international department and quarterly travel program
  • Maintain regular, successful and smooth relations with franchisees
  • Manage the process of the international exhibitions
  • Update operations manual and booklets when needed
  • Expand the franchise business in new regions and countries
  • Manage the evaluation and selection process of the new franchisee candidates with checking their business plan and feasibility studies
  • Conduct the new country/region visits, new market research and new location approval
  • Manage the contract processes with the legal department
  • Check franchisees’ compliance with contract terms and committed expansion plan
  • Follow-up the debt status of franchisees, collection of receivables and carrying out accounting reconciliations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduated from a reputable university, Post-graduation in business is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Food&Beverage, minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proven experience in franchisee management, outlet operations management and franchise expansion.
  • Shop opening experience in abroad
  • Good command of English
  • Advanced organizing and negotiation skills,
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage the team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, preferably multi-cultural communication skills
  • No restriction to travel
