ROLE PURPOSE

•The primary point of contact for the service life-cycle management of ITSM tools
•Development and maintenance of policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that enable the organization to manage the ITSM management, Business Service Management ,asset and busines & technical service portfolio with respect to risk, cost control, compliance and performance objectives in scope of configuration management
•Management of Enterprise IT Applications and consolidation of desktop and enterprise tools
•DEVOPS & SDLC Process Management
•Development and maintenance for ISO 22301,27001,2000 ,SOX and PCI DSS process and maintain the IT Service and event Catalogue

Your place in the team

The successful candidate will serve as a ITSM tools Engineer reporting to the IT Services Division. Responsibilities will include:

• Support Vodafone Enterprise ITSM tools environment which comprises multiple tools such as IBM Maximo, Essymax , Mobile maximo service management suite ;
• Hands-on design, implementation and configuration for any of those tools;
• upgrade, planning and implementation;
• Diagnose and resolve incidents;
• Implement appropriate corrective actions for known errors;
• Troubleshoot performance issues;
• Track ongoing status of any incident and their corresponding problem record to -ensure that identified problems are addressed and resolved;
• Respond to and closely coordinate incident resolution and ongoing resolution status of all support requests for infrastructure monitoring team;
• Develop and implement department related policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources for various technologies such as VMs, Unix, Linux, Window servers, Network devices and applications;
• Follow ITIL standards and Vodafone own policies;
• Ensure update or create department related topologies, assets , projects, budget ,procedures, policy, integration point documentation and flows
• Manage ticket creation and/or relationships for root cause and symptomatic events and perform special projects and initiatives as assigned..
• The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and configuration of the Enterprise level ITSM systems. Provides support on a Vodafone business hours schedule, also responsible for on-call, extended hour, and weekend support as required by mission or emergency situations.
• Develops and implements testing strategies and documents results.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• Improve asset maintenance through the ability to better utilize proactive, preventative, and predictive measures
• More accurate analysis of the impact of potential changes to hardware, software, firmware, documentation, testing procedures, etc.

• Prepare & negotiation Professional services , Enterprise Agreements process or project based effort etc.
• Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
• Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,
• Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,
• Protect user accounts and associated password’s, and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.
• Reducing Opex costs by implementing related tools and applications.
• Manage projects and risks delegating upwards as well as downwards to make sure that projects / objectives / tasks are delivered on time and to cost/ quality criteria.
• Organize trainings to improve the knowledge of team
• Encourage others to show initiative, be creative and get involved.
• Planning implementation of new technologies into VFTR related application, tool and appliance environment

We are looking for you if you have

• Good command of written and spoken English (Upper Intermediate / Advanced)
• Significant experience in IT and Telco infrastructure, technologies, products and services
• Experience in at least one of CA, IBM, HP, App Dynamics Event management / monitoring Technologies and/or Service Management tools.
• Significant experience in using UNİX, AIX, Oracle DB Server and TSQL, XML. Experience in using with jquery and some involved java script.
• Lead meetings with internal and external clients
• Familiarity with 24X7 operations methodologies and IT management best practices (e.g. ITIL)
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related major field of study
• More than five years’ experience using ITSM Tools (Maximo , JIRA ,Servicenow etc).
• Must have the ability to manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple technical tasks in assigned program.
• A proven Track record on developing high quality product software on schedule
• Experience with application servers (WebSphere Application Server and WebLogic)
• Experience with operating systems, networking, and firewall concepts
• Experience with security (SSL, data encryption, system user accounts, directory servers)
• Five (5) or more years’ experience applications development/development is required
• Experience with web protocols including HTTP, SMTP and LDAP
• Knowledge of administration of database and web server components
• Experience with Tivoli process automation engine application set
• Modern programming language experience SQL, java and/or Python
• Experience with methodologies and technologies development such as HTML, CSS, XML, J2EE, java script
• Experience with Maximo integration technologies (MIF, MEA, Object structures, services, channels, etc.)
• Experience working with Maximo, SCCD, deployed Self-Service Portal

• Experience working in agile software development environments.

• Experience working on multiple project and multi-tasking

• Experience with BIRT, Business Intelligence Reporting

• Experience in IBM Maximo integration with other application.
