QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for IT Specialist to be assigned to our Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant project in Mersin, belonging to our Synergy Construction company.
As for the skill set and experience we are looking for;
- Graduated from related departments of universities,
- 3 years of experience in computer software, hardware and applications,
- Having knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance and backup of Windows server, other Windows family products and office programs,
- Proficient in Microsoft server platforms (AD, DNS, DHCP),
- Knowledge of basic firewall management,
- Having knowledge about active network devices (switch, router, modem, etc.) and their setup,
- Ability to set up and operate a wireless network,
- Having knowledge and experience in network management, connections (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, Access Point, etc.) and operation,
- Basic knowledge of "File Server",
- Backup, antivirus, endpoint protection etc. Experienced in managing software,
- Knowledge of web-based applications,
- Knowledge and experience in information security applications,
- For male candidates who are not related to military service,
- Class B driver's license,
- Fluent in English
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Providing all kinds of software and hardware support to all users within the company,
- Regularly auditing the backup system and ensuring that backups are restored when necessary,
- Providing and controlling necessary data and internet access for internal users within the scope of authorization,
- Installing remote connection applications, making necessary security and authorization settings and monitoring,
- Evaluating requests and requests from users or general observations, making necessary researches and making suggestions on the incorporation of new efficiency-enhancing software/hardware and applications into the company,
- Establishment/installation and control of new network infrastructure systems that may be needed,
- Establishing and managing the necessary practices related to ensuring information security within the company,
- Organizing outsourcing and management as needed,
- Preliminary research on the purchase of various hardware and software needed, collecting proposals and submitting them for approval.
