Occupational Accountabilities of the Job:
- Minimum 4 years experience of provide a software protection and safety policy for the company data files against any virus, failure, misuse, personal damages and sabotage.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto, Moxa, FortiGate, Cisco, Aruba is preferable
- To be able to work with shift system ( 1 of 3 shifts per day)
- Strong end-user communication skills
- Strong problem solving capabilities
- Working on specific projects with other departments
- Having a driver License is a must
Expected Technical Skills:
Hardware and Software Support;
- Determining all the necessary equipment configurations for computer equipment which are in use or required by any departments.
- Creating purchase requisitions for hardware, software and other related items, checking received equipment according to the order and technical specifications and install required software and applications.
- Contact 3rd party suppliers to get technical support.
- Performing periodic hardware and software maintenance.
- Controlling and ensuring that the periodic maintenance service for computer equipment is done properly by supplier.
- Installing any new version of the program or new patch.
- Creating and supporting users and give access rights after approval.
- Contacting company in order to solve or fix problems.
- Helping users with the program and required equipment usage.
Network & Operating System Support;
- Installing/updating servers, new network systems or modify/update the available system.
- Administering connections (PC to network and printer to network) and network cabling system.
- Defining users, network privileges, printers, and all other necessary setup parameters in the network system.
- Maintaining backup system (daily, monthly and as required).
LAN (Local Area Network) Administration;
- Administering/installing/setting the LAN equipment
- Install the new LAN equipment (Hub, Switch, Ethernet Adapter, etc ), including software
- Defining and installing local and remote network equipment
- Ensuring UPS system in place and working properly.
WAN (Wide Area Network) Administration;
- Administering/installing/setting the WAN equipment (Router, Firewall, etc)
- Defining and installing router, firewall including software and hardware.
- Controlling and ensuring that the periodic maintenance WAN software and hardware.
Backup Operations;
- Backup Ing and maintaining security of the whole application software and Database.
- Informing users how to ensure their file safety against disk damage.
- Backup Ing all computers and servers files weekly, daily and/or other periods.
