QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Alpa A.S. (tortoise) is the fastest growing manufacturer company of polyurethane based waterproofing materials, floor coverings and adhesives in Turkey. The company is located at Haci Sabanci Industrial Zone / Saricam / Adana. We are looking for Foreign Trade Specialist in accordance with details given below
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Providing all necessary documents for import & export operations,
· Coordinating shipments and the process until the products are delivered to the customer,
· Maintaining regular communication with customs broker to ensure compliance to all customs law and regulations,
· Maintaining knowledge on all rules and regulations of import processes and ensuring efficient transmission of all import products,
· Ensuring the flow of information between production, shipment and logistics units for all import and export processes,
· Participating the continuous improvement of current systems and processes, implementing projects accordingly,
· Responding to all requests and questions of the customers regarding with their orders and shipments by coordinating with other departments,
· Following up the payments by coordinating with Finance department
· Preparing the Business Plan for the new market research for chemical products
· Developing of correspondent relationships with worldwide suppliers, ordering, execution of freight procedures, follow-up of all import documentations
QUALIFICATIONS
· University degree in Foreign Trade, Transportation, Logistics or Business Management preferred
· Minimum 2 years of experience in deep knowledge on Import, Export, Customs and Foreign Trade legislation
· Very good command of English
· Competence in planning, organizing and reporting
· Strong communication and problem solving skills,
· Quality and customer oriented
· Result-oriented, analytical thinking
· Intercultural adaptation and communication skills
· With high persuasion skills
· Applicants with completed military service for male candidates
