QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job description
- Collaborating with sales team and customer to ensure supplies are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Implementing and maintaining operating policies on general logistics and product procedures
- Monitoring and managing budgets
- Selecting carriers for transportation and negotiating rates and contracts with carriers
- Responding to and resolve complaints and problems
- Keeping up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them
Requirements
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience of logistics processes, systems and solutions
- Good analytical skills
- Problem solving and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, able to speak persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Self-disciplined, motivational abilities and results-oriented team player
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
