QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job description

  • Collaborating with sales team and customer to ensure supplies are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Implementing and maintaining operating policies on general logistics and product procedures
  • Monitoring and managing budgets
  • Selecting carriers for transportation and negotiating rates and contracts with carriers
  • Responding to and resolve complaints and problems
  • Keeping up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience of logistics processes, systems and solutions
  • Good analytical skills
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, able to speak persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Self-disciplined, motivational abilities and results-oriented team player
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
