Export /Import Specialist
Job Brief
We are in the search of an Export/Import Specialist. The Export /Import Specialist will play an important role in planning, managing and delivering the goods to customers in a very neat and accurate way and will work collaboratively with the relevant departments at our growing company, the authorized distributor for TE, in Turkey and in Middle East.
Responsibilities
- · Planning transport routes by carrying out a detailed study of cost effective trade routes
- · Planning best means of transport to meet the cost as well as time barriers
- · Ensuring the safe delivery of goods by handling and taking proper care during transport
- · Prepare and manage all the necessary documents required for carrying out domestic as well as international
- · Verifying the delivery of goods according to the customer specifications and ensuring that deadlines are met
- · Ensure whether the rules and regulations are met by maintaining the information about licenses and tariffs
Requirements
- · Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills to interact with clients effectively and avoid any misconceptions
- · Good team player and able to coordinate with people effectively
- · Expert on organizational skills
- · Effective skills in planning and time management
- · Knowledge about different geographical locations and routes
- · Expert on problem solving skills
- · Attentive and accurate in execution of the tasks
- · Knowledge about various foreign languages is a plus
- · Expert knowledge about international trade laws
- · To have computer skills and be efficient in working on various required software applications
- · Knowledge about auditing and commerce
