The Right Candidate for this Job:
We are looking for teammates who are enthusiastic about taking part in our Big Data BI application that we developed for the health sector in Turkey. Your main task will be parsing (sorting and transferring to data) packages coming from hospitals in Java.
We are inviting you to join the team incharge of providing the data that the Turkish Ministry of Health broadcasts on TV stations and other media channels. The perfect candidate for this post must be meticulous, careful and creative in order to be successful in his/her assigned tasks.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Excellent command of Java programming language, with at least 2 years of experience.
5+ years experience in the Software Industry holding a degree in the department of Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics.
Competence in SQL, including ability to write complex queries and designing dimensional data models.
Sensibility to write clean code (parser Java code or SQL), real drive to implement decent and sustainable data flow systems.
Due to the sensitivity of the data, should have no records of criminal conduct or past participation in illegal entities.
Desirable Qualifications & Competencies:
Experience with Spark, Kafka, HDFS will give you precedence over other applicants.
Experience with HBase, MongoDB, Oozie, StreamSets, Cloudera is an asset.
Familiarity with Linux system administration is a plus.
Knowledge in Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Data Analysis solutions is a plus.
