QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for administration and customization of Jira and Polarion applications in FIS business unit. You will be part of a team developing software for the engineering teams in a global company in automotive industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related subject from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience. System/tool administration experience is a reason for preference.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally.
- Desire to learn new skills, new methodologies, new tools and improve.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team member.
- Positive, productive personality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- No military service obligation at least for 2 years for male candidates.
- Knowledge of requirements management, activity management, configuration management.
- Having experience on tools such as Jira or Polarion is a reason for preference.
- Knowledge of C#, Java or Python would be an advantage.
- Awareness of software lifecycle processes.
- Available for shifting working hours (when necessary) for other Delphi sites with different time zones.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Act as a point of contact for BorgWarner users on Jira and Polarion applications.
- Support project, template or scheme specific changes as agreed by the SteeringTeams
- Perform script/servlet/extension installations.
- Support requests for interfaces to other engineering tools
- Migrate projects (its data and/or its configuration) from Development to Production server or vice versa.
- Analyze and resolve deployment and runtime issues.
- Ensure stability and health of Jira and Polarion applications.
- Interface with internal IT and Atlassian/Siemens companies to report any problems on the applications.
- In addition to administration, responsibility on supporting the team to develop custom scripts which meet the requirements. (Development will be done mainly with Velocity, Groovy, Java, JavaScript).
