Junior Associate (Lawyer) İş İlanı

GENEL NİTELİKLER

We are looking for junior associates (lawyers) who wish to work especially in the fields of Commercial and Corporate Law, Contracts Law, Employment Law, IT Law, IP Law and M&As.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts both in English and Turkish.
• Draft and review corporate documents (PoAs, General Assembly Meetings, BoD Resolutions, internal directives, and signature circulars etc.) both in English and Turkish.
• Follow up corporate secretarial processes such as General Assembly and Board meetings and necessary registration steps.
• Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of M&A related legal matters, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents.
• Provide legal consulting to the company on all sorts of Corporate Law, IP Law and Labor Law etc.
• Participation in development of internal procedures and support in-house training process.
• Develop and maintain contract templates.
• Liaise with external legal firms.
• Supervise litigations in assigned business areas.
• Engage in data protection projects, draft necessary legal documents thereof.
• Monitor and follow amendments on the relevant legislation and informing relevant units.
• Identify risks relating to business activities and potential solutions thereof; raise business’ awareness of legal issues and ensure early legal involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law and admitted to Turkish Bar.
• Fluency in English both verbal and written. A certificate of IELTS, YDS or TOEFL certificate is an advantage.
• Up to 3 years’ experience in the related areas.
• Strong knowledge of the Turkish laws and regulations, and judicial system.
• Self-discipline and attention to detail.
• Must have the ability of time management and ability to adopt.
• Capable of multitasking.
• Willing to manage complexity.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, strong ability to research and follow up, adaptable team player.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Master’s Degree in Law, Finance or Capital Markets is an asset.
• Interest in technology and its requirements in the legal World is an asset.
