Position Summary:

This position writes software to perform a variety of tasks, which can be either in an embedded system or for a PC environment, using Visual Basic, C/C++, assembly, LabView or other language as required by the application. The position requires getting training at the headquarters in Ottawa, Canada and future travel between Turkey and Canada. There may be opportunities in the future to move to Canada for some of the candidates if needed.


Typical Duties:

  • Designs required firmware for OZ products.
  • Writes and debugs embedded software.
  • Debugs and troubleshoots electronic circuit boards in conjunction with embedded programs.
  • Writes and debugs application and driver software for OZ products.
  • Documents software programs
  • Needs to have experience in C/C++ and python languages creating embedded/GUI applications. minimum of 5 years’ experience in needed.


Education:

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.


Experience:

· Junior position requires 2-5 years, Senior position requires 5-10 years experience in writing embedded software of firmware design.

· Experience in Visual Basic or C++

· Experience using in-circuit emulator and simulators.

· Experience in digital electronic design.

· Experience in analog electronic design is a plus.

· Experience in development Dynamic Link Library (DLL) or Windows device driver is a plus.


Skills:

  • Ability to write re-usable software for use on a PC or in an embedded environment.
  • Ability to clearly express ideas and observations, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to write software for real-time applications.
