QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
S/he will be employed as Tool Development Engineer for our Tool Development Department.
Main responsibilities are:
· Checking part designs, preparing feasibility reports & explain improvement ideas to designers
· Checking tool designs, preparing improvement reports & giving tool design approval for machining start.
· Creation of tool manufacturing plan, & periodic follow up according to project milestones
· Attending tool trials, reporting part/tool problems and guiding toolmaker for solutions
· Managment of all enginering changes in line with project plannings
· Giving tool transfer approval to initiate delivery from toolmaker to serial production plant
· Completing all tooling adaptation according to standards before serial production
· Update tooling standards based on lessons learned from the projects
Qualifications
· BS or MSc degree in engineering departments (esp. Mechanical or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering)
· Min. 2 years of Injection Tooling experience
· Home Appliance, Automotive industry and/or plastics material experience is preferred
· Experienced user of Siemens NX and/or Caita V5 and/or Solidworks
· Excellent command of written and spoken English
· Open to work in a diverse environment (abroad)
· Self motivated, organized, detail-oriented, analytical mindset
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
· Possible residency in Çerkezköy, Kapaklı, Çorlu area / will be able to.
