QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
The Quality Inspector will be a key member of the Operations team and report into the Production Manager and Quality Manager.
Other duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- The inspection of finished products using measurement equipment.
- Reading, interpretating and understanding engineering drawings.
- Approving and creating inspection reports.
- The use of non-conformance reporting procedures while liaising with manufacturing personnel.
- To monitor and maintain perfornance reports relevant to the role and work area.
- To be responsible for ensuring all inspection documents are correctly recorded.
Qualifications
- Quality inspection experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of carrying out close tolerance work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of analytical skills.
- Must be able to read engineering drawings, have excellent visual awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience of meeting targets.
- Knowledge of quality, quality assurance, inspection, and checking processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with both internal and external interested parties.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Must be flexible and hardworking to help support the needs of the business.
- Experience of an ERP system.
- Good written/verbal communication in English.
