QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The Quality Inspector will be a key member of the Operations team and report into the Production Manager and Quality Manager.

Other duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• The inspection of finished products using measurement equipment.
• Reading, interpretating and understanding engineering drawings.
• Approving and creating inspection reports.
• The use of non-conformance reporting procedures while liaising with manufacturing personnel.
• To monitor and maintain perfornance reports relevant to the role and work area.
• To be responsible for ensuring all inspection documents are correctly recorded.

Qualifications

• Quality inspection experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of carrying out close tolerance work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of analytical skills.
• Must be able to read engineering drawings, have excellent visual awareness and attention to detail.
• Experience of meeting targets.
• Knowledge of quality, quality assurance, inspection, and checking processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with both internal and external interested parties.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Must be flexible and hardworking to help support the needs of the business.
• Experience of an ERP system.
• Good written/verbal communication in English.
