QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Tasks

We are looking for a Lab-Engineer to join the Test team in MAN Türkiye.

- Testing of polymer materials and components (e.g. thermoplastics, duromeres, elasto-mers) according to internal and external standards

- Material-related analysis (performing mechanical, chemical and thermal analyzes of poly-mer materials) for approval process

- Support engineering in the selection and implementation of suitable polymer materials for interior and exterior bus applications

- Material consulting for engineering/production and support of supplier qualification with internal/external development partners

- Coordination of method implementation with central material technology laboratory in Germany

- Conduct of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation programs within the context of laboratory’s audit system and methodologies

Qualification

- Bachelor, Master or Dipl.-Ing. in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science with a focus on materials technology or polymer technologies

- Very good laboratory skills in the field of mechanical, chemical and thermal analysis of polymer materials is necessary

- In-depth knowledge of various polymer processes, textiles and wood are a plus

- Good written and spoken English knowledge is a must, German is a plus

- Good knowledge of process and quality standards relevant to the automotive industry is a plus

- No restriction with traveling abroad
