QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Our customer is a global mining company which has several sites around the world.We are looking for aLaboratory Specialist.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures,
Ensuring product quality and continuity; ensuring that intermediate controls at the production stages and laboratory analyzes for the final product are carried out accurately, reliably and on time,
Working with other laboratory team members to complete laboratory tasks within assigned timelines,
Evaluating and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards,
Analyzing precious metals by using methods such as Aqua regia, Fire Assay analysis and cupellation method etc.,
Reporting on analyzed test results,
Ensuring to studied of laboratory according to quality standards,
Ensuring to maintain laboratory equipment and tools in clean, safe, and good conditions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering departments, Master’s Degree will be plus,
Minimum 5 years of experience,
Being knowledgeable about Analytical Chemistry,
Being competent in using atomic absorption device,
Knowing working principle and using of ICP-OES device,
Knowing working principle and using of UV/VIS Spectrometer device,
Complying with HSE regulations and standards,
Having training or being knowledge of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025, Method Validation, Measurement Uncertainty, Analysis Methods and Devices in plus,
Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment is plus,
Fluency in oral and written Turkish and English,
Strong sense of analytical thinking, detail-oriented and solution-oriented,
Having superior time management skills,
Ability to take responsibility,
Being a good team player,
Having leadership skills,
Good command of MS Office applications,
Be an active driver,
Military service should be completed for male candidates,
Residing in Kayseri Develi district or willing to relocate.
