QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor degree or equivalent, maritime or technical degree preferred.
- You must have excellent English both written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of contracts, charter parties and key laytime/demurrage provisions.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience,
- Good understanding of marine and terminal operations.
- Strong facilitation, planning, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Meticulous, pro-active with positive attitude and willing to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demurrage calculations,
- Involved in all stages of the laytime calculation process,
- Caryying out negotiations with counterparties,
- Produce weekly reports and maintain and distribute demurrage metrics.
