The Role
The Lead EngineerMechanical is responsible for detail engineering activities of projects for both workboats and yachting,delivers independently, on time and with good quality engineering products and leads a small group of Mechanical engineers in such a way that their engineering products are delivered on time and of good quality.
Discipline activities:
• 3D routing
• Component modelling
• Workshop information
• Arrangement oftechnical spaces
Key accountabilities:
• Is assigned to a project by theManager of Engineering Department and, if he cannot perform all the work himself due to time, translates them to the small group that he/she manages professionally.
• Prepares his/her own tasks and ensures a realistic own planning of work.
• Independently draws up (especially complex) sketches and drawings.
• Generates workshop information from models.
• Provides technical and substantive support for production and commissioning.
Skills & experience
• Knowledge at the level of Bachelor degree inNaval Architecture and Marine Engineering orMechanical Engineering (with shipbuilding experience).
• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive working knowledge of mechanical engineering with ships.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Knowledge of and experience in the use of Cadmatic Outfittingis a plus, but Autocad is a must.
• Verbal and written skills in English.
• Willing to work in a dynamic environment.
• Result – oriented and strong monitoring and reporting skills.
• Living in or prepared to move to Antalya area.
• Ready to have business trips abroad.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
