QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
- Having attained degree from a reputed law school
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a lawyer preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house legal experience
- Special expertise in the areas of project finance transactions, corporate, construction, procurement, commercial, labor and leasing law
- Excellent command of written and spoken legal English
- Commitment to learning, hard work and quality
- Highly motivated and ambitious to develop
- Ability to work effectively and be a team player
- A commercial and pragmatic outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and organization skills
- Strong strategic/analytic thinking & high level of judgement and writing skills
Job description:
- Drafting and reviewing contracts related to construction, project finance, procurement, leasing, and other business transactions
- Performing works related to corporate governance
- Providing legal consultancy related to construction, project finance, corporate governance, procurement, leasing, collection and other business transactions
- Following up litigation matters via external law firms
- Drafting notices to protect the company’s interests
- Analyzing the probable outcomes of legal issues
