Qualifications

  • 4 years’ law school degree (from reputable Law Schools, Master's Degree (LL.M) is preferred)
  • Qualified legal practitioner admitted to the Bar

  • Up to 5 years of post-qualification experience whether in-house or with a law firm

  • An organized, analytical approach to problem solving is also essential.

  • Ability to adapt to change and deal with ambiguity

  • Full professional proficiency in English (Both Spoken and Written)

  • Good knowledge of Ms Office applications,

  • Completed military service for male candidates

  • Be able to reside in Antalya

Job Description

  • Working at country and business unit level in Turkey and at regional level a business partner to the Global Manufacturing Quality, Supply organization to ensure that there is consistency and understanding of management’s needs and advice while at the same time ensuring overall FME META and EMEA region’s and global goals and strategies

  • Representing the company in legal proceedings

  • Providing advisory services about labor relations, labor law and Data Protection & Privacy Policy by acting coordinated with HR; and also being advisory in third party relations, legal conflicts & disputes; in contract management especially by acting coordinated with local procurement.

  • Making regular reviews on Turkish Legislation and regulations (Commercial Law, Labor Law, Personal Data Protection Act, Free Zone legislations, etc.)

  • Managing a wide range of transactional matters; including contract review, drafting, negotiation and legal & compliance policies, and to follow up the implementation into local processes.

  • Excellent knowledge of Import and Export, regulatory framework and implementation, competition law, commercial law, expertise in drafting and negotiating transaction documents (e.g. Share Purchase Agreements, Asset Purchase Agreements, Letters of Intent, Due Diligence Reports, Shareholder Resolutions, etc.), local, regional and international sales and purchases, as well as (ancillary) commercial agreements and arrangements, and in transaction management (incl. due diligence and negotiations)

  • Being expertise in the healthcare sector is a big plus, in particular experience in healthcare sales and import and export transactions (ideally medical devices and medicinal products industries)

  • Being open and willinto deep-dive into healthcare-related areas of law and regulations

  • Advising management and internal clients on all legal and other risk matters in the aforementioned context

  • Ability to communicate transactional and structural cornerstones and key drivers of a deal to management and other international clients and stakeholders

  • Providing legal advice and support for the business on all levels, including labour, litigation.

  • Engages, coordinates and manages external lawyers as required.

  • Assuring compliance with Fresenius Medical Care’s corporate guidelines, compliance and governance policies and implements supporting processes and controls together with local and regional compliance departments and legal teams.
