QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Managing Linux Systems with RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu and Oracle Enterprise Linux
- Implementing upgrades and security patches regularly, Manage's server firmwares
- Analyze and optimize performance of systems, eliminate bottlenecks, plan for capacity upgrades
- Bash Scripting/Programming ability to write automation scripts from scratch as well as read/update/modify existing scripts
- Design and manage infrastructure monitoring tools(Zabbix, Prometheus etc)
- Manage infra with infrastructure-as-code orchestration and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, AWX , Vmware vRA etc.)
- Maintain logging and performance monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Design and keep up to date directory services (IPA)
- Monitor and deploy High Availability infrastructure components (Load Balancers, HAProxy etc.)
- Knowledge of Virtualization (VMWare) are plus
- Knowledge of container orchestration are plus.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years hands on experience in systems engineering
Experience Requirements
- Linux OS administration
- Strong Knowledge on Directory Services (IPA)
- Strong Knowledge Monitoring/Alerting/Logging Services (eg. Zabbix, Syslog, Logstash, Grafana, Kibana)
- Experience on Containers and container orchestration (ContainerD/Docker/Kubernetes/etc.)
- Configuration Management (Ansible, AWX , Puppet and Salt Stack)
- Strong Scripting Experience (Bash, Python, Go etc.)
- Virtualization systems management (VMware is preferred)
- Able to work under pressure and deliver projects on time
- Self-motivated, approachable and adaptable, with have good communication skills.
