QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Metallurgical & Material Engineering,
  • Min. 1 year of professional experience in Purchasing,
  • Knowledge about contract management with suppliers,
  • Good command of the English language in written and spoken,
  • Good practice of MS Office and SAP MM modüle,
  • Soft skills: Assertive, team worker, customer oriented, accountable, attention to deadlines and to have negotiation skills.


Job Description

  • Research of procurement market and detection of trends,
  • Group-wide alignment as well as implementation of a material group strategy on an international basis,
  • Definition and creation of a qualified international supplier portfolio,
  • Assessment, selection, development and risk management of suppliers,
  • Evaluation of request for quotations (RFQ) and quotations within the scope of the internal awarding conferences,
  • Negotiation of costs and terms using all available purchase leverages,
  • Conclusion of agreements/contracts on an international basis,
  • Support of new launches and in case of critical situations due to missing parts,
  • Initiating and accompanying initial audits,
  • Organisation of quality workshops for supplier qualification,
  • Charging/debiting suppliers in case of non-quality,
  • Supporting the part approval process.
