QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Antalya Substrat is part of the Van der Knaap Group of Companies with its Head Office in the Netherlands. Antalya Substrat aims to deliver sustainable and high-quality products and services in rooting and growing media for the Turkish and surrounding horticulture markets. The products and services provided by the Van der Knaap Group can help growers to achieve the best outcome. For our substrates we use natural raw materials as cocopeat and peat moss.
At Antalya Substrat we are looking for a Logistic Manager with affinity to the horticultural sector and the motivation to optimize processes and activities.
The activities
In this position you will improve, optimize and manage, customs and logistical procedures at our production site in Antalya. You will be responsible for coordinating the whole supply chain from purchasing, organizing the national & international logistic and handling its import and export procedures. For this you will work closely together with suppliers, national and international logistic companies and custom brokers. Furthermore you will follow our stocks and purchase goods whenever necessary and make sure that goods are delivered to customers on time and correctly.
You are helpful to colleagues where necessary and support them in achieving a problem-free supply from supplier till customer.
You will work from our location in Kepez/Antalya .
We are looking for someone who
thinks and acts at least at B.Sc. + level;
Has an excellent command of English (must) and Turkish;
Has several years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
Has knowledge and experience in logistics and customs procedures;
Knowledge of professional horticulture is an advantage;
Can work independently as well as in a team;
is accurate and persistent and works in a structured way and with precision.
