One of the biggest companies in White goods sub industry and automotive supply industry in Turkey and Europe . Konveyor has 5 plants in Turkey and 1 plant in Poland. Konveyor Tuzla Headquarter is looking for a “Import/Export Logistics Responsible " for its Foreign Trade department. The position is based in Tuzla, Istanbul and will be reporting to Purchasing Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree from Engineering, Foreign Trade and Logistics departments of related universities,
• Hands-on experience in international maritime transportation,
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills,
• Competent in follow-ups and adapting an analytical approach,
• Customs operations knowledge
• Good command of written and verbal English,
• Completed military service for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a passionate Import/Export Logistics Responsible who will join our team ;

· Planning import/export logistics and customs activities in order to ensure timely delivery of material and products,

· Implementation of import/export opportunities in the areas of logistics by following developments for the objective of the company,

· Ensuring the timely flow of information to production planning teams about shipments, customs operations,

· Having experience in making multi-modal shipping, in-depth knowledge of incoterms and governmental regulations covering import customs regulations,

· Monitoring, analyzing, and publishing performance metrics of suppliers and forwarders,

· Dealing with international logistics, managing import documentation, letter of credits, inbound customs operations,

· Conducting relations with transporters and customs brokers on expected and achieved service levels,

· Providing new methods for cost reductions,

· Participating in projects and procedures to reduce transportation costs and improve overseas on-time delivery performance,

· Analyzing alternate transportation solutions to provide a cost-effective transportation model,

· Making remarkable supply chain projects in order to ease all working processes,

Contributing the Supply Chain logistics cost optimization to enable the best-landed costs
