QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

BALKAN POLYMERS Ltd. is an international company and its main activity is in the field of trade in polymers and raw materials for industry. The company has been on the market since 2010 and was established to import and distribute polymer products on the Bulgarian market and the region.

In connection with expanding the activity and increasing the volumes, we are looking to hire professionals who would like to join our team working in Istanbul and report to Sofıa office in the following position:

LOGISTICS SPECIALIS

We will expect from you:

- To be able to use information systems for inventory management, tracking delivery times, transport costs and tracking the entire logistics process;

- Use of established systems for coordination and control over the cycle of orders and deliveries;

- Use of data from existing systems for evaluation and monitoring of efficiency and quality;

- Contact with logistics and transport companies, preparation of contracts-applications and finding new partners in the sector;

- Preparation of new contracts with transport and logistics companies, analysis of logistics problems and development of new solutions;

- To understand, work and support with ideas the development of the strategy of our company;

- To prepare analyzes and reports for the needs of the Management;

- To be well acquainted with the legislation and regulations in the field;

- Setting goals and their implementation;

- Work on new projects;

- Work on new supply strategies;

- Other administrative activities;

Skills that will help you in your application:

- Experience and knowledge in land, sea and rail transport are required;

- Experience with customs offices and relevant departments will be considered a major advantage;

- Previous experience in working with ERP system is required;

- Excellent level of English / candidates with Turkish or Pharsi language will be considered with priority /;

- Skills to work with MS Office applications;

- Skills for systematic and logical implementation of the set tasks and goals;

- Ability to manage your time;

- Ability to solve problems and make decisions, to think innovatively and to be able to streamline the work process;

- Experience in logistics is required;

- Ability to cope with changes in your environment;

- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team;

- Excellent communication and analytical skills;

- Negotiation skills;

- Desire for improvement;

- Ability to achieve results in an extremely intensive work environment for setting priorities and meeting deadlines;

- Driver's license category "B";
