Mechanical Engineer, İstanbul, Maslak, HQ

• Min. 5 years of experience in the Refinery, Oil, And Gas Sector
• Proactive work style, problem solver, good communicator

Responsibilities include:

• Checking of Engineering Subcontractor counterpart’s activity progresses and bringing into light any critical issues
• Reviewing the design output documents, prepared by the Engineering Subcontractors
• Communicating directly and daily with the Engineering Subcontractor and the Site Technical Team
• Technical reviewing of packages from bidders/vendors and material suppliers
• Performing functions required to obtain the correct quality and quantity of materials, equipment, itemized and bulk materials and/or services for delivery
• Expediting, receiving, tabulating (technically) vendor/subcontractor bids
• Processing claims, back charges and penalties as foreseen in the Purchase Orders in conjunction with the assigned buyers
• Keeping the PM informed of all critical areas and recommending possible corrective actions
• Coordinating Ustay’s site team (such as RFI (request for Information) with the Engineering Subcontractors and recommending technical solutions to any possible problems.
