QUALIFICATIONS

University degree, preferably but not limited to in Engineering, Economics, B. Administration, Statistics or equivalent
MSc / MBA degree is a plus
Experience in power and/or gas market is a must
Analytical thinker, good at numbers, know -how in statistics and forecasting
Having good communication and presentation skills
Willingness to accept responsibility and self-driven
Very good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment
Proficiency in English is a must
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially at Excel and Power Point
Know-how in SQL and Python is a plus
No military obligation for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION

Forecasting short, mid & long-term power and gas prices and preparing related sensitivities
Analysis of global and local energy-related commodity markets (gas, coal, and oil)
Working closely with our modeling team, structuring data into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from the model results
Monitor market developments in market design/regulatory issues that could impact prices
Coordination with other departments and front offices
Designing and publishing regular market view reports
