QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures the uniform provided is kept in good condition, clean, presentable and grooming standards are adhered to showing example for the team and a professional image for our guests
Informs Assistant Chief Engineer of your presence on duty, signs for any keys or bleeps that maybe required prior to commencing your shift
Checks hotel daily operation report
Carries out checks of boiler house
Checks that all lifts & dumb waiters are in good working order
Carries out checks on hotel Air conditioning controllers in tank room
Carries out repairs and fault finding on hotel plant and bedroom and public area
Keeps workshop stock up to par Stock
Keeps all records of repairs and testing
To be responsible for retrieving and completing work orders as per policies and procedures in HotSoS
To be responsible for completing all work order from HotsSoS prior to ending the shift
Requirements
Secondary education and a Trade Certificate in maintenance
Must possess mechanic tradesman license issued by local authorities
At least 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
Must possess a warm and pleasant personality and is able to work well in a team environment
Must be able to read and interpret diagrams/drawings and be computer literate
