JOB DESCRIPTION
Engineering Specialist will work with a group of faculty and graduate students in a research laboratory related to the additive manufacturing of advanced alloys. This government-funded project will establish a state-of-the-art technology center. High energy, passion and motivation towards next generation technologies are the basic elements of this job function.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Work on the operation and maintenance of metal additive manufacturing systems.
- Keep track of required supply and perform regular maintenance of equipments and infrastructure of the center.
- Develop operational procedures, support relations with stakeholders and follow administrative regulations and completion of related tasks.
- Work on research projects and collaborate with faculty and students.
- Follow-up with job requests and maintain timely delivery of tasks.
- Design and help manufacturing of various experimental setups and prototypes.
