Mechanical Project Engineer Job Profile
We are global mining company which has several sites around the world. We are looking for dynamic, proactive, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated Mechanical Project Engineer for our project in Develi.
This position is fully responsible for the correct implementation of Mechanical activities to be executed by several contractors. Ensuring good performance of Mechanical works within the scope of project in compliance with environment and health and safety procedures and QA/QC Management Plan. This individual will need to be proactive, strongly analytical and have excellent problem-solving skills and supervisory capacity.

Job Profile
- Has full responsibility for the correct execution of all mechanical activities at the construction site,
- Analyzing project specifications, developing work schedules, delegating tasks to different teams, reviewing mechanical drawings of constructional activities,
- Completing blueprint designs using software and making appropriate adjustments once the client and other engineers have seen them,
- Ensuring that all engineering and manufacturing processes are in keeping with the health and safety regulations of the state and the country,
- Supervising all Mechanical activities of several contractors and consultants, manufacturing processes and making appropriate recommendations for improvement,
- Collaborating with other engineers and technical personnel to develop instructional and training manuals where required,
- Ensure QA/QC specifications are met during the site mechanical works,
- Conducting research on field developments and networking with other engineers and professionals,
- Liaising with clients and writing up reports to present to shareholders and other relevant parties,
- Ensuring that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe,
- Scheduling meetings and training sessions when necessary,
- Ensuring that staff remains motivated by implementing feasible incentives and regular team-building sessions,
- Determining and reporting all nonconformities in construction projects in the site (Observation report etc.),
- Being responsible for reporting of equipment, following up the official documents and certification works related to the realization of the project,
- Working with the other departments to ensure legal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably within mining or similar industries,
- Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment is plus,
- Fluency in oral and written Turkish and English,
- Good command of Primavera, MS Project, MS Office applications and ERP programs,
- Being team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills,
- Effective communication skills,
- Be an active driver,
- Residing Develi district in Kayseri or willing to relocate.
