Job Description
- Leading the project from technical point of view according to PM methods including all internal and external communication activities . Clarification of technical requirements and required inputs to design the brake system. Guiding the project through the internal review milestones.
- Continuous support and advice to customers for the acquisition of projects and expansion of the customer relationship.
- System conception and preparation of technical offers for international project tenders taking into account the technical requirements and the commercial aspects.
- Preparing system documents like parts lists, brake calculation, air consumption calculation and system descriptions.
- Check and commenting of customer specification and contracts. Preparing clause by clause commenting (CBC).
- Interface between customer and sub-project managers of the relevant development departments (Air Supply, Brake Control and Bogie Equipment).
- Guiding the vehicle commissioning process and supporting the approval process. Supporting the commissioning engineers during the commissioning phase.
- Supporting the change order process and claim management under consideration of the agreed contractual obligations.
- Supporting the project till the end of the warranty period.
- Organization of corrective activities like repair and exchange processes.
- Working in cooperation with the sales area manager and commercial project leader.
Qualifications
- Successfully passed university degree mechanical or industrial engineer
- Experienced in international sales preferable (technical sales)
- Self-confident manner and customer orientated working style
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skill
- Self-reliant working style
- No restriction for travel in and out of country
