QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Medical Manager for our Medical team in Headquarter Office, Istanbul. The position holder will report to Medical Director.
- Follows and ensures alignment of all internal/external stakeholders with relevant medical regulations about related medicinal products,
- Develops and/or contributes to the affiliate / therapeutic area medical plan and strategies
- Ensures that all promotional and medical activities carried out by the company are managed in compliance with Ministry of Health, AIFD and Servier regulations.
- Provides strategic medical business partnership to internal stakeholders in implementing promotional materials, medical strategies, and guidance in carrying out promotional activities as a scientific advisor.
- Creates close scientific relationship with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) for assigned products and therapeutic areas,
- Supports scientific knowledge-base of TAEs and Key Medical Decision Makers about our medicinal products,
- Leverages the product related knowledge-base of external service providers as well as healthcare professionals involved in patient oriented/support programs,
- Gives insight to his/her counterparts in direct teams and other functions about the performance of Servier’s promotional/scientific activities,
- Monitors, identifies, interprets and reports the scientific/medical impact of new medical activities, strategies and materials of competitors.
- Manages clinical trials initiated by Servier Global Medical and Patient Affairs Department and Servier Turkey.
- Supports data analysis and the development of publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts)
- Manages the process of answering enquiries from HCPs, patients and patients’ relatives. (RPMI)
- Supports and be involved in regulatory, training, compliance, pharmacovigilance and quality assurance activities for all products.
- Prepares scientific slide sets for HCPs about Servier products and related therapeutic areas.
- Develops and maintain collaborations and relationships with relevant professional societies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MD, Pharmacist) in health sciences min. 2 years of relevant clinical, therapeutic experience or relevant scientific industry experience
- Good planning and organization skills
- Strong communication skills
- Located in Istanbul,
- Willingness and no restriction to travel frequently in Turkey,
- Ability to effectively partner across multiple functions
- Advanced interpersonal, project management and presentation skills
- Ability to ‘translate’ scientific data into meaningful, clear and compliant content for customer communications and engagement
- Commercial/business acumen and contribution
- Advanced level of English,
- Excellent command of MS Office,
