Merchandiser – Development & Production
MEMTEKS is an athleisure-inspired technical apparel company, active within the seamless garments fashion; we are sustainability-minded and committed to acting towards improving the environment we live in.
We are seeking a mature and well-experienced Merchandiser, knowledgeable about the development and manufacturing processes, QA, QC, testing, labelling & packaging, inline and pre-delivery inspections, capable to undertake the merchandiser’s Role end-to-end.
You Are …
· Very well-organized, with strong daily follow-up skills, taking responsibilities and able to successfully manage challenging tasks.
· Proactive and taking initiative, having an analytical approach and attention to detail, with a solution-oriented and results-focused mindset.
· Competent in MS Office Applications, materials applications (PLM), and production ERP systems.
· Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
We are looking for someone who will ….
· Receive samples or tech-packs, and follow up the development of protos, size ranges and size sets, and control all pre-production requirements.
· In cooperation with the Design Team, assist in defining and following-up time-and-action calendars for the development and production processes, and delivery timelines.
· Attend proto fitting sessions to ensure correct fit across all sizes, is maintained in bulk production.
· Follow closely all production steps, ensuring QA requirements, QC specifications, inline and final inspections requirements are accurately implemented.
· Handle and troubleshoot production issues.
You need to be …
· Well-experienced, by a minimum of 6 years in a similar role.
· Deeply knowledgeable about apparel QA, QC, and inspection systems.
· Experienced in seamless, jerseys, athleisure, activewear, gym, home wear, underwear and the similar product categories. Experience in cut-and-sew development and production merchandising, is a great plus.
· Able to identify problems and blockers, demonstrate use of initiative and advise/implement appropriate solutions.
· Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
· Having a hands-on mentality!
