GENEL NİTELİKLER
PURPOSE:
· to ensure qualitative and smooth liaison between external suppliers/buyers and close cooperation with internal departments.
· Accurate performance on KPI in terms of on time delivery, quality and development sample adoption rate.
KEY RESPONABILITIES
Order management:
· Daily communication with local suppliers, buyers in Italy and local Turkish office.
· Manage and control the whole ordering process and procedures.
· Close follow up and tracing for the orders and foreseeing potential bulk problems.
Sourcing Management:
· Expand and maintain a good database of market networking for new factories and products
· Understand the buyers need and fashion trends.
Product development:
· Check every technical file to make sure that all required information are provided.
· Review and explain all details with suppliers to make sure all requirements from designers are well understood.
· Proto and samples follow up, sending date, prices and filtering them when needed and requested all based on tech file, fabric requested and materials.
· Check lap-dip when needed and send acceptable proposal only: provide them at same time of counter samples and follow strictly with supplier the respect of the procedure
· Develop all materials with supplier-check for referenced material when needed ( e.g zippers etc)
· Follow-up with factory counter sample status and give updates to Italy office on schedule.
Negotiation:
· Prepare supplier quotation meeting, arrange counter sample, all other materials like fabric, accessories, lap-dip colour card and supplier planning capacity and forecasted ETD( estimate delivery time).
· Help sourcing department by providing tech files/ samples/ general feedback on product for benchmarking for new potential suppliers.
· Good in costing skill for a win-win negotiation on costing.
· Ability to push back and know when to say “ NO”
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
· At least 2/3 years related experience in merchandising field; mainly for European market is preferred, experience in foreign buying office is a plus.
· Strong in sourcing and negotiation skills. Strong in product development and production experience.
· Well organized, detail minded with strong business senses.
· Proficiency in both written and spoken of English, italian is a plus.
· Proficiency in MS office such as outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Availability to travel when required.
