Job description
Analytical and Sourcing
- Analyze costing and break down details of fabric, all accessories, and each and every item involved in the product
- Knowledge in sourcing fabrics and accessories, as well as their detailed specifications.
- Conceptualise Budgeting of the styles as per Market forecasting
-Source fabric/ items/ accessories/ products from other suppliers as necessary to ensure lowest cost, best quality and on-time delivery, within framework of efficiently utilizing suppliers' capacities.
- Expertise in sourcing Men's and Ladies' Wear
Costing
- Highly resourceful in negotiating price with the Vendors & placing
orders to factories
- Determine budget and ensure that all tasks/activities required by the vendor are executed within allocated budget and time frame.
Production Time/ Planning
- Able to compare the quality of the sample product and its measurements against the correct specifications.
- Visit factories for execution of orders and timely delivery
- Responsible for maintaining track of the garment sourcing and delivery schedule.
- Excellent planning in sourcing and follow-up abilities, as well as hands-on experience
- Deal with vendors for all pre-production and post-production issues.
Quality
- Understanding of final inspection / quality control standards, AQL acceptance and rejection.
Profile
*Minimum 3 years experience in buying Houses sourcing and manufacturing companies
*Textile University Degree is a must
*Good with numbers
*Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
*Preferably with knowledge in the Navision software
Language: English or Arabic at least intermediate level
