QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Overview
We are looking for a Microbiologist who independently plans and executes technical work program and may lead straight forward technical projects under supervision ofR&D Operations department at our Kemerburgaz facility.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics or equivalent,
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a Microbiology Laboratory in the food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry,
- Technical know-how of preservative efficacy testing (PET) and testing for biocides,
- Good command of MS Office programs,
- Good command of English is required both verbal and written,
- Good analytical thinking skills,
- Excellent innovative problem-solving skills,
- Team working and customer-oriented mindset,
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills,
Responsibilities
- Define and take the necessary precautions in terms of working safety (HSE-Q) and ensure compliance with Organik Kimya and safety programs by pro-actively reporting and improving safety related issues in the laboratory,
- Carry out plant hygiene audits in order to identify processes, practices, equipment and raw materials that contribute to microbial contamination,
- Support with timely investigation of customer complaints and other sources of nonconforming work,
- Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, in process products,
- Conduct microbiological challenge testing studies in support of the business,
- To support the business with microbial safety and quality issues,
- Plan and execute project work to develop application and knowledge,
- Liaise with internal and external contacts as necessary to track and communicate service activity status,
- Develop and maintain awareness in relevant technical fields,
- Provide technical support to operations, R&D, sales, quality and regulatory if needed,
