We are looking for a Microsoft System Administrator who will have the following responsibilities;
- Responsible for the functioning of Microsoft systems under supervision such as Active Directory,
- Install, maintain and update the operating systems on the physical and virtual servers as well as the Microsoft server software,
- Oversee the system events to ensure its proper functioning, the maximum availability of the systems and quality of service,
- Participate in the recovery and backup of Microsoft systems,
- Perform advanced diagnostics during emergency situations; must be available to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary,
- Perform system and application updates as well as equipment firmware updates,
- Maintain the documentation regarding configurations, operations and diagnostic procedures for the Microsoft platform,
- Participate in the definition of standards, procedures, best practices and metrics as indicated,
- Assist in the evaluation of new needs, design techniques and standards,
- Apply and use the tools and work methodologies in place,
- Answer user questions and service requests,
- Perform all other related tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrics/Electronics Engineering or related departments
- At least 4 years of experience in similar positions and took part in large-scale corporate IT projects,
- Experienced in Windows Server operating systems
- Experienced in Domain, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File Server and Certificate Server management
- Advanced knowledge in the management of Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online systems,
- Experienced in SQL Server management systems such as Always-On, Failover Cluster,
- Experienced in e-mail and file archiving systems
- Experienced in identity management systems and integration with terminal units
- Familiarity with Virtualization Platforms (Vmware, Hyper-v)
- Familiarity with routing rules on the firewall side
- Will be able to take part in the management of infrastructure projects related to corporate applications,
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Good command of English
