QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:
- Provide sound legal advice on a range of issues, whilst building and maintaining productive relationships with clients, team members, and cooperation partners
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with clients, team members and cooperation partners
- Provide excellent client service
- Draft and negotiate contracts, shareholders resolutions, minutes of board meetings, handle trade registry transactions,
- Ensure effective management of time, effort and resources in order to generate maximum efficiencies.
- Maintain time records at all times.
- Ensure work is compliant with procedures and standard documents.
- Consider regulatory issues at all times and report any concerns to the Partner
- Build knowledge and experience in the Law Firm’s practice areas to the highest standards.
- Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the team
- Undertake and advise on project work, litigation and arbitration matters as required
- Undertake any initiatives identified and designated from time to time by the Partner
Required Competencies:
- Law Degree from a Reputable University (LLM Degree from a Reputable University is an asset)
- Minimum four (4) - ten (10) years of experience in the legal industry after the internship (Experience in cross-border transactions is an asset)
- Significant experience from a leading law firm in one or all of the following areas: Corporate Law / Commercial Law / Energy Law / Construction Law / Tax Law
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills in Turkish and English languages
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills in Turkish and English languages
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent drafting skills
