QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for Mine Manager for our project in Bigadiç / Balıkesir.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in mining engineering department,
- Minimum 15 + years’ experience in open pit Mining operations, preferably with in 3 years Mine Manager position experience,
- Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment is plus,
- Fluency in oral and written English,
- Good command of MS Office applications, and other mining applications,
- Residing in Balıkesir district or willing to relocate.
Job Profile
- S/he will be responsible for the planning, operation of mine production, contractor to mining, mine geology, surveying and all earthworks at the site.
- Manage to develop and optimize mine designs, production procedures and systems, mine production planning, scheduling, as well as drill and blast designs of contactor.
- Monitor realization of targets for production, grade quality of ore, utilization of workforce and equipment of contractor and submit regular reports on costs and performance of mining and projects,
- Manage to develop mining methods to improve mining economics, effectiveness and safety, as well as minimize environmental impacts,
- Perform reasonable mining scenarios, cost estimates and estimates of production potential for existing mine opportunities,
- Ensure to develop annual strategic plans, budget and Life of Mine Plans,
- Participate in safety, environmental and quality control processes and initiatives,
- Lead and develop team members of the operation, planning, geology and survey teams to have a skilled, qualified and continuously improving workforce through coaching and mentoring.
