Çayeli Bakır İşletmeleri A.Ş. (CBI) is owned by First Quantum Minerals Ltd. which is an established and rapidly growing mining and metals company .CBI is an underground mine and produces copper and zinc in Madenli, Çayeli in the Province of Rize. During the life of the operation, CBI has continuously looked for opportunities to enhance its reputation and performance through the application of leading international practice in all areas of its business. CBI is sensitive to the environment, respectful to the local people and one of the leading enterprises in terms of its technical infrastructure in the Turkish mining sector.
We are looking for our new ore for developing our powerful and dynamic labor force.
The successful candidate will be in charge of underground mine design, short and long term mine planning, and production scheduling.
Requirements
- A Mining Engineering degree (a degree in English is preferable)
- Minimum 5 years of underground mine design, planning and scheduling experience
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English (a decent degree in KPDS, TOEFL iBT or IELTS is preferable)
- Good knowledge of MineSight 3D or equivalent software
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferable
- Excellent team work, communication and analytical thinking skills
- Interested in gaining hands-on underground experience
- Willing to reside in Rize and/or Hakkari
- Completed military service for male candidates
- B-Class driver’s license and the ability to drive actively
