QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a teammate in accordance with the following qualifications to be assigned as"Mine Planning Engineer"in the open pit copper mine of our company in ''Kastamonu, Hanönü'' region
- BSc Mining Engineering Degree,
- 3 year or more experience in similar position,
- At least 2 years practical mining experience at the early stage of career (surface and /or underground mining; drilling, blasting, excavation, etc.),
- Mine Planning / Design Engineering experience,
- Being user of 3D Mine / Geology Modelling Program, preferably Datamine,
- Having Rock Mechanics knowledge and / or understanding
- Fluency in English,
- Team player,
- Being energetic and having leadership skills,
- Able to balance technical and financial objectives,
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Planning daily, weekly and monthly mine plans, designs and open pit waste roads
- Reporting, analyzing and evaluating production plans and actual data according to grade control
- Directing mine planning with rock structure, structural elements and fault effects
- Establishing short-term plans for waste field, ensuring equipment adequacy
- Preparing technical reports and working towards a solution with a multidisciplinary approach
- Developing plan assumptions according to operational outputs and integrating mine planning
