QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Çayeli Bakır İşletmeleri A.Ş. (CBI) is owned by First Quantum Minerals Ltd. which is an established and rapidly growing mining and metals company .CBI is an underground mine and produces copper and zinc in Madenli, Çayeli in the Province of Rize. During the life of the operation, CBI has continuously looked for opportunities to enhance its reputation and performance through the application of leading international practice in all areas of its business. CBI is sensitive to the environment, respectful to the local people and one of the leading enterprises in terms of its technical infrastructure in the Turkish mining sector.
We are looking for our new ore for developing our powerful and dynamic labor force.
The ideal candidate is required to have the following qualifications:
- University Degree in Mining Engineering
- Minimum of ten years of underground operational, technical, and managerial experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Demonstrated operational experience as a leader of a mining technical team, with a focus on the safe and efficient management of underground mining operations.
- Expertise and experience in multiple underground mining engineering disciplines – ventilation, geotechnical, drill & blast and mine planning.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and make decisions.
- Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Willing to work and reside both in Rize and Hakkari.
