QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Mining and Exploration Manager or his/her designee, performs the following duties:
• Conducts on-field survey and record measurements.
• Assists the mining team with, licensing, permitting etc.
• Coordinates with other surveyors on field survey activities.
• Maintains logs, reports, and records in relevant databases.
• Coordinates drill core processing, sampling.
• Performs raw material and product testing and quality inspection
• Ensures the company EHS and Operational Excellence targets are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
• University degree in Mining Engineering
• Good written and verbal communications in English
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry preferably minerals processing
• Knowledge and experience of minerals sampling and testing
• Self-motivated individual with excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel primarily within the region but also globally
• Work collaboratively with mining team and operations to develop action plans arising from key learnings.
• Ability to build strong relationships with cross functional groups
• Strong problem solving/root cause analysis skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at a time
• Based in Enez
• Being able to work independent with minimal supervision
• Military obligation should be completed (for male candidates)
