QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in related fields with min. 3 years of experience (Big4 experience preferred)

Proficient in English

SAP knowledge is a must, and advanced level of MS Office applications

IFRS knowledge is a must, and experienced in Turkish taxation legislation and accounting (CPAs preferred)

Strong reporting and analytical skills with experience of production operations and cost accounting

Key Tasks

Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions (import process, foreign vendors, valuation, accruals, etc.)

Produce error-free accounting reports (legal, IFRS and reporting package) and present results

Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

Direct internal and external audits (financial, tax, customs, etc.) to ensure compliance

Lead month-end and year-end close process

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Review and verify payroll data and source documents

Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets

Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the system, and calculate depreciation for all fixed assets

Conduct periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets

Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts

Design, develop and maintain automated workflow processes

Work with ERP systems users and management to determine appropriate system configuration and setup in order to review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
