GENEL NİTELİKLER

We are looking for a team member Network Security Administrator, is part of the Information Technology (IT) Department residing in the Infrastructure Division.

This team is responsible for both critical and non-critical IT systems and infrastructure. This position requires knowledge of configuring and securing multi-layer switches, wireless LAN, firewalls, VoIP, end-point protection, and IPS/IDS systems. Our team member will be in good cooperation with IT Center EMEA colleagues in Belgium.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or a related field gained through a two or four-year college/university academic program or specialized technical training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Minimum 2 years technical experiences and expertise with enterprise switched and routed networks in a fiber-connected.
  • Experience working with core network and application-layer protocols.
  • Broad hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, VPN and other industry-standard techniques and practices.
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP, Wifi, TLS/SSL encryption; and network administration protocols.
  • Understanding and ability to implement security best practices.
  • High level of understanding of security tools (vulnerability scanners, sniffers, log correlation tools).
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Demonstrated commitment to stay current with network trends and security topics.
  • Industry certifications (Security +, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, etc.) certification is plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 and/or COBIT requirements is plus.
  • Microsoft Azure Network & security service knowledge is plus.

Essential Functions

  • Recommend, schedule (where appropriate), and apply fixes, security patches, disaster recovery procedures, and any other measures required in the event of a security breach.
  • Provide network security assistance to the organization in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manages the operational activities of network, including installation, configuration, maintenance, reliability and security.
  • Manages network security solutions, including firewall, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Analyzes network functions and evaluates the services provided; develops a plan of action and recommendations; identifies milestones and issues to be addressed; generates reports as required.
  • Monitor server logs, firewall logs, intrusion detection logs, and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity. Interpret activity and make recommendations for resolution.
  • Design, implement, and report on security system and end user activity audits.
  • Design and implement physical network topology.
  • Assisting system administrators with network security and connectivity.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and security upgrades.
  • Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights for VPN.
  • Managing network connections both internally and externally via the firewalls.
  • Supervises or performs vulnerability and penetration tests; identifies and defends against threats.
  • Managing network assets and their maintenance contract.
  • Daily work entails regular use of the following: Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches; Cisco wireless controller and access points; Cisco ISE. Check Point Security Management Server and Firewalls; Palo Alto NGFW; Cisco DNA; SolarWinds and Microsoft Office.
