.NET Core / Full Stack Environment
Position Description
General Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in .NET or .NET Core development
- The ability to lead a development team
- Excellent verbal and written English
Responsibilities
- Working as a Technical Lead to manage projects and a team of up to 5 Developers
- Being accountable for both hands on coding and people leadership
- Training and monitoring the performance of team members
- Setting up development and CI environments
- Automating and streamlining development and testing workflows
Position Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of experience as a .NET Developer
Experience and Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum 5 years commercial .NET experience
- Demonstrated experience in full-stack development
- Solid experience in .NET backend development
- Understanding of the software development project management lifecycle (end-to-end)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions
- Exposure to at least some of the following:
o Documenting and building APIs, e.g. JSON, REST
o Linux/web server technology
o CI/CD tools, e.g. GitLab CI/CD or equivalent
o Production database services, e.g. MySQL, MSSQL
o Database technologies and types e.g. big data, time series, relational, columnar
o Amazon Web Services; e.g. EC2, OpenSearch(Elasticsearch), RDS, S3, AIM
o Container tools/microservices, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS
o Data visualisation and reporting e.g. Grafana, Superset, Logstash
o Some AML/KYC industry experience beneficial but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven team leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and establish positive relationships with non-technical stakeholders.
- Organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
