QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Koç University Dean of Students will be hiring a Newcoming Advising Assistant Specialist with the below mentioned qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related fields
- Preferably, minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in academic departments of universities or educational institutions
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly in MS excel
- Male candidates must have no military obligations
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assists the Newcoming Advising Manager with the organization of new student orientation programs and seminars/trainingsthroughout the academic year in collaboration with relevant university departments
- Act as a liaison between new undergraduate students (Turkish and International) and relevant university departments and faculties; assists students with general knowledge questions and direct them to appropriate campus resources
- Assists with mentor student recruitments and regular monthly supervisions
- Assists with administrative needs of the office (i.e. logistical arrangements for meetings/seminars, budget management, reporting etc.)
- Performs other relevant duties as required
